Well a big congrats goes out to Wayne H for taking the largest Typical whitetail deer and to Paul R for his last minute non-typical.  Our first annual Big Buck contest was a great sucess.  Congradulations also go out to Trevor, Joe, Eric, Nick and Dan for their large does weighed in.  The two largest Bucks are being Mounted by Paul Ross Taxidermy and the Does were all butchered and wrapped by Brad R at Wild Game Meats.  Thank you to all that participated, we will be holding a draw for all the names entered for Magazine subscriptions to ‘Ontario Monster Whitetails’

Time to do your part now and do a little predator control.  With the cold weather and snow, there is no better time to try and outsmart ol Wylie Coyote.  Come in and I will see if I can gear you up for some of the most exciting hunting offered in southern Ontario.

Opening day was very windy but that did not stop Mollie F from putting her tag on this gorgeous 8pt buck. She came in and bought her ticket to the contest the day before opener just for bragging rights over her boyfriend. Well the pressure is on, and the contest is off and running. WINTER is here

Ice fishing is in Full swing now all over Southern Ontario, and our very own Island lake is absolutely on fire. Pike and Crappie are the main species to target with 10 fish days common.  Cooks Bay is now hardening up and some of the operators ar putting their huts out.  For those that love to get into a mess of ‘golden goodness’, come in and see what we got for all your Perch fishing needs.  From ultra light rods and combos to augers and huts, we got you coverd at Dufferin Outdoor Supply
